Mr. Cristales provided excellent instruction, teaching methods, and a GREAT learning environment. He demonstrated good knowledge of effective educational practices, which will be extremely valuable to me as a future instructor.

Educational Services

As the Latino population is increasing throughout the nation, there are many questions educators in K-12 and Higher education must be able to answer. Some of these questions include:

  • Are we or our staff prepared to teach at-risk and underserved students?
  • What strategies are effective in helping our minority students be successful academically?
  • What can we do to better serve our Latino students in higher education in order for them to actually receive their four year degree?

Business Services

The last two Census reports have raised the awareness of the power and growth of the U.S. Latino community, and how much of an impact Hispanics are having on every sector of the U.S. economy.

Business leaders today are struggling with how to create marketing campaigns that are culturally relevant. Also, as the Latino population increases in the workforce, the need for diversity training is essential. Almost 50% of millennials are minorities, with Hispanics accounting for just about 25% of them and growing at the quickest rate.

Now, more than ever it is vital to reach out to the Latino community.

Student Services

We recognize that for many minority students the process of filling out the necessary paperwork for college can be stressful, especially if they will be the first in their family to attend college.

We do not want students to be discouraged from attending college because their parents are unsure of how to help them.

We are here to provide assistance in guiding students and parents through all aspects of the college search process from course selection and identifying career interests to resumé development, essay strategies, interview coaching and applying for colleges, scholarships and financial aid.

A.C.’s presentation at our conference for teachers and school leaders from across the state of Texas was REMARKABLE. His personal experiences combined with his professional knowledge makes for a great message for all educators.
